Aanjhan (a.k.a. tuxmaniac in the Open source world) is currently pursuing his PhD
with the Systems Security Group at
ETH Zurich. He holds a bachelors
degree in Electronic and Communication engineering and has worked with
Robert Bosch's Car Multimedia Division "Blaupunkt" for over 3 years
involved in research and development of embedded modules for top
Automotive manufacturers including Audi and Volkswagen. He did his Masters at Ecole Polytechnique Federale
de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland. Research Interests include but not limited
to Multiprocessor Systems, Computer architecture, Electronic Design
Automation, Wireless / Embedded systems security. He has a few national and international
level publications and projects to his credit. "Young Scientist Award"
for a novel Hybrid Electric vehicle concept developed and displayed at
IIT Bombay, "Distinguished Alumni" award are some appreciations he has
received for his work. In the Free software world he is an Ubuntu
member, a Fedora electronic lab developer (not so active now),
gnusim8085 developer/maintainer and contributes random patches to
other open source projects of his interest. He has conducted several
workshops on Embedded Linux, VLSI CAD tools in the past and has also
spoken at international and national free software conferences. He also writes
gadget reviews for FoneArena.
