Venue : Indian Institute of Science Auditorium, Bangalore, India.
Event : FOSS.IN 2008
Presentation : PDF
Abstract
Fedora Electronic Laboratory, an ambitious project, is designed to be a complete electronic laboratory setup with reliable open source design tools to keep engineers in pace with current technological race. This suits the Indian student community a lot, since the laboratories in the majority of the univs are ill equipped or there is no sufficient exposure to the outside world. The main purpose of this talk proposal is to get the student community use, contribute and have fun while hacking and learning. Also the talk will list down the various opportunities available in beginning to contribute and specific set of problem statements will be put forth for a group to sit and hack on later during the conference at the Fedora Work out.
