2009 Feb 05

Starting tomorrow, very early (I really mean it, I have a flight at 0635 hrs from Geneva), I will be in Brussels, Belgium for FOSDEM 2009. The schedule is amazing. As Madhu pointed out, there are more than 200 speakers from all over the world, from all FLOSS projects gathering there. I am very excited! After working with Chitlesh close to a year now, I will be meeting him personally and what more he has a talk on Fedora Electronics Laboratory too. Lots of KDE folks have also promised to be there. The Fedora and Ubuntu gangs will be there too. Looking forward to some great Belgian Beer.

Its going to be 3 days full of knowledge, travel, photography, hacking, networking, socialising… on and on. More from FOSDEM as I get through the days. Now off to sleep to get up in time for tomorrow’s flight. If you are around Brusells, do drop in at FOSDEM. I love saying “Hello” to people :)

  1. haha, I would have taken the same flight if I had a early enough train from Bern to Geneva Airport. Now I’m flying at 12:40 from Zurich Airport.

    See you at FOSDEM :)
